Cupertino, California – Tumult Co. today announced the release of version 1.6 of its lightweight HTML and PHP editor for Mac OS X, HyperEdit. Tumult HyperEdit uses a split view with text editor and a preview pane to display the web page live as a user types.

HyperEdit breaks the tedious cycle of writing HTML/PHP, saving the file, then reloading and viewing the page in the browser by combining the writing phase with the viewing phase.
